Minimise carbon emissions through the selection and use of public transport, bicycles or walking, and using cars only when essential.

Minimise energy useage

Minimise energy useage by employing low energy lighting and high efficiency appliances, turning off power to electrical equipment and appliances at the end of each day. Mews.co.uk have researched into the use of wind power and solar energy for generating power. Mews.co.uk strive towards this ideal.

Minimise paper usage and print wastage

By evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible and by utilising email marketing. The company not only print on FSC certified or recycled paper wherever possible, but all of printing cartridges are returned to the supplier for recycling. Wherever possible we use refilled laser toner cartridges and not new products.

Actively promote recycling by reusing wasted paper for internal use, reusing files and salvaging stationary, sorting recyclable waste, shredding sensitive documents and reusing for compost

Minimise the impact of chemicals on the wider environment

The company use natural or environmentally friendly eco cleaning products. The Company's staff raise awareness of environmental issues and support the improvement of the Company's performance. This policy is endorsed by the Directors and all employees and staff.
